Benefits

Tele - Doc
When you can't reach your primary care physician or when it's after your doctor's normal hours of operation call TelaDoc®, a national network of board eligible, primary care physicians who specialize in telemedicine. Members can access a physician within 3 hours of their incoming call (free-of-charge). The doctor will diagnose the problem and if necessary phone in a prescription to the member's pharmacy of choice. TelaDoc® is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. If you register by phone there is a one-time registration fee of $10 when a family member uses TelaDoc® for the first time (this fee is waived if you register online). This registration fee is for each family member but is only incurred one-time. You may register in advance of actual usage or you may register at the time you need to speak with a doctor.

Combined with this benefit is a program designed to save you money on generic and brand name prescriptions. There is no underwriting process or lengthy application and you cannot be turned down. The IAB Tele-Med program is accepted at over 75% of pharmacies nationwide.
